Belisarios had been Justinian I’s greatest general. His contributions to Justinian I’s reign were considerable.Without him, Justinian I might have lost his throne in the Nika Revolt of 532. The reconquest of North Africa from the Vandals in 533–534 and the early successes against the Ostrogoths from 536–540 were due in large part to his generalship. Poor adolescent diet may influence brain and behavior in adulthood

Adolescent male mice fed a diet lacking omega-3 fatty acids show increased anxiety-like behavior and worse performance on a memory task in adulthood, according to new research published in The Journal of Neuroscience. The study suggests adequate nutrition in adolescence is important for the refinement of the adult brain and behavior. Important finds at Politiko-Troullia and Pyla-Koutsopetria excavations on Cyprus island

Cyprus’ Department of Antiquities, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announced the completion of the 2018 archaeological investigations at the Bronze Age (ca. 2100-1850 B.C.) site of Politiko-Troullia, conducted under the direction of Dr Steven Falconer and Dr Patricia Fall, University of North Carolina Charlotte, USA.
