Dolmens of Bulgaria

In this post we briefly present information on ancient Dolmen structures found in the territory of modern Bulgaria.

Dolmen of the king, Byalata Treva (Hlyabovo)

The dolmen is known as “Dolmen of the king” and is located in the Byalata treva area, a few kilometers south of the Hlyabovo village.

Dolmen Nachevi Chairi (Hlyabovo)

A few kilometers west of the Hlyabovo village the “Nachevi Chairi” Dolmen is found.

The village Hlyabovo is the second biggest settlement in the municipality of Topolovgrad. It is located within a large area on the northern slope of the Sakar Mountain.

Balgarska Polyana is a village in the municipality of Topolovgrad, in Haskovo Province, in southern Bulgaria.

Dolmens of Chernichevo

Chernichevo is a village in the municipality of Krumovgrad in the Kardzhali Province of Bulgaria. 6.5 km northeast of the village there is a necropolis consisting of seven dolmens.
